Fishing Report for December 9

Fished the other day out on Round lake for perch and walleye, got a few perch on the smalles size slender spoon with a minnow head on a dropper off of it, but nothing huge, and no walleye, was fishing a flat in 18 feet of water. Last night got out in the evening, went and check LCO in chicago bay and the ice still isn't safe, only had 1 1/2-2 inches of ice, not enough for me, so I headed over to a smaller lake to try it, and there was 6-7 inches. I missed one on a tip-up on a weed edge in about 8 feet of water. Then at dark I lost one on a 1/8 oz. slender spoon in about 8 feet of water as well. Didn't get any fish on the ice though.
