Boreal Bay - getting ready

I'm getting ready to head north... ice is almost out at home and a warm week ahead. Even Nestor Falls is expected to see some 60 degree weather in the week ahead! I should be in Nestor Falls next weekend, so I can start working one getting ready for the 2010 season.

We celebrated the "ice almost out" with a crappie and sunfish fish fry and some hush puppies. Jenny and Amy said it was really good, but we know it's not the same as the freshly caught Lake Trout, Walleye, Crappie, Perch or Northern Pike we will be experiencing in the months ahead.

It doesn't get much better then a Canadian shore lunch!
