Good news for the May opener

Monday the wind was out of the southeast moving the ice right into our shoreline - yikes!
Tuesday with 45mph winds out of the southwest the ice thankfully moved out and away from the shoreline.
The eagles were perched on the edge of the ice islands doing the only fishing on the lake.
This morning believe it or not - NO ICE!!!!
I hear this early spring fishing is pretty good - Wayne might give it a try if we can get a boat ready - but not until after vacation next week.
