End of September Fishing Report 9/24/2012

I will post full report tonight or Tuesday. Fishing has been excellent. Some days we have to work for them, but are still getting our limits. The smallmouth bass bite on Sharpe is excellent. Walleye size is good on sharpe also, just getting them to bite everyday is the tough part. Also a good bite from Kiowa to the dam. Spinner and crawler/minnow has been best. The numbers of total fish is higher on Case. On Sharpe we are catching 35 to 50 plus total fish. On Lake Francis Case the numbers are 60 to 90 plus fish.

Just a word of note. With all of our regular staff, we have only had 4 non-fill days all summer out of around 550 days on the water. 2 of those days were 4 people (brought in 14 on one trip and 15 on the other). One heck of a summer, we are looking forward to the rest of the fall. I will be fishing up to pheasant season, then will fish when weather allows and have an opening.

Between 64 and 65 degrees. It has been coming down a little each day on both reservoirs. Both lakes water temp is the same.
