Fishing Report 4-14-13

CRAZY is the only word I can think of bout this springs fishing so far. Tough conditions have made some very tough days out on the pond! Low water, cold water, mother nature, anything that could possibly have hit us has.. Fish have been scattered out all spring long and continue to be the case now. No set patterns, no set spots, just cover it all and fish! Casting has produced best with Rattle baits, Sledges, Phantoms. Trolling has produced best with Tuff Shads, Little Ernies, Big Game Scuba.

The lake is in good shape with water temps at 52 finally warming some. We have yet to hit a wide open bite yet who knows tomorrow may be the day.. PMTT coming into town at the end of month, this coming wknd the Cave is hosting a huge bass tourney that looks like will have at least 150 boats in it.

Our spring is just delayed about 2 wks things will be picking up daily its just hard being behind with mother nature through prime times! Good luck ill see you on the pond
