feb17 - snowmobiliers are very happy

fishing isn't so great. Been slow, but they are bringing them in. Ice is still about 24" +/-, some slush is developing. it's windy and only in the single digits for temp today. We have about 16 fishermen here and the gut bucket is only getting about half full when we check in the mornings.
The snow is deep enough that you can not drive with a truck outside the roads. Wayne plowed a couple new ones for our guys near the marina and on tom's bar, even put some paths on pike bay - the plow is coming in handy this year. We watched a guy out there the other night in a truck doing some off roading - LOL - didn't move fast or far, finally got back on the road and went north.
