Thanks again to the Indiana DNR for their outstanding efforts. They out do themselves every year.

Thanks for posting that John. I was pretty upset at myself for forgetting about it.
Did they remove ball from the list?
-
-
Thats too bad. I like that place. Any reasons?
-
They based their decision off of creel studies done at the lake. They found that the number of hours spent fishing by anglers targeting muskies, vs. actual catch rates, was pretty high, higher than other indiana waters, and a lot higher even than naturally occurring lakes in Wisconsin where stockings don't occur.
-
Ok, I can understand that. I just started fishing it this year, so catch rates are low. But then again my catch rate is low everywhere this year. Just hate to see a lake come off of the list.
I see that driftwood is back up. Did they fix the levee? Anyone been there.

Was this the Ball Lake that someone boated a 52"er from last year? The one that is just North of Fort Wayne?
-
By my understanding yes. That is the only Ball lake stocked. Again one of the reasons I was upset.

Can anyone tell me how long they have been stocking Waveland? Long enough to fish yet? Has anyone tried fishing there?
