Fishing Report for Sunday April 4

Friday jess and I ran up to Bayfield for some trout and salmon fishing on lake superior. We got into a bunch of coho and lost a couple bigger fish possibly some trout. We kept 6 coho all in the three-three and a half pound range. all were caught on Reef Runner Rip Sticks trolled at about 2 mph, in about 16 feet of water at the mouths of rivers. hot colors were the best.

I will not be at the minnesota muskie expo, its too late in the winter and I would rather be fishing! All the lakes are wide open now too!!

sure helps fill the gap til musky fishing kicks in, doesn't it?

They are really socking it to the Browns over on the east shore here in MI. The piers are producing well. Perch should kick in any day.
