May 22nd report

I had Bob Ranquist out for an 8hour trip yesterday and we caught a bunch of pike and smallmouth bass. A few of the bass were nice but the pike were small.

In the evening I had Dave and Matt Poppe out and we fished smallmouth for a while and boated about 15 of them and about 8-10 walleye. There were mostly small walleye up shallow yesterday for some reason. We only had a few that were larger ones. Most were about 11-12 inches. I heard there were a lot of walleye being caught lately. My uncle caught about thirty two days ago and one of my buddies caught a 28 1/2 and a 27 in the last couple days.

Overall I had a great time with the groups I had out yesterday. The wind played a little rough at times but we managed to get out of the wind on most spots.
