Conversation Between alleycatlures and Them Muskie Lures

  1. Hey Cliff,
Thanks for the info. I got EX-74 in a "sample size" for $25 from www.fewproducts.com. Just ask for the sample. I have probably coated well over 100 lures and I still have a lot left. If you run into any problems, let me know, but it was a pretty smooth transaction. The sample size is a 32oz kit. Let me know if I can help further. I have been making all of my baits thru wire now. Took a little getting used to, but I think they are coming out pretty well now. I will let you know how we do tomorrow.
Thanks and have a good Thanksgiving.

  2. Hey Greg. Alum has slowed a bit but fish are still being caught. Cheshire bridge opening both casting and trolling has been decent lately. Still an occasional good day at 36 as well. Sledges and bulldawgs have done well in these areas.

Are you still using ex-74 epoxy. If so, did you find it anywhere besides 2 gallons. Was going to try it but would rather find a smaller amount to try out.

    Good Luck Tuesday.
    Cliff
  3. Hi Cliff - Have you been out on Alum at all lately? Have you been doing any good? A friend of mine is coming from Michigan next Tuesday and we are going to go somewhere. I heard ALum had slowed considerably, so I have been to CLearfork twice and not a single fish, so I was thinking about giving Alum a shot. Any tips? Are they still between 36/37 and Cheshire? Any casting opportunities or has it been trolling? Any help would be great. Thanks.
    Greg
