E-e-e-e-ha!!
Projected Nice Weather Has Finally Arrived 75+ Today, nice Yesterday, water Temps Rising Into The 60's.
End Of The Week Ended On A Good Note.
Walleyes Are Moving Into The Grass And Mud Flats 4-12' Besides The Structure Patterns. When Exploring The Flats To Find Fish Try Spinner Rigging And Shallow Cranks, going Back Through Pods Of Fish Repeatidly And When Things Quiet Down Try Jigging The Area.
Jigging And Rigging Still Best On Structure Spots 16-28'. Gulp And Palstics Kicking In And Leeches And Crawlers Should Start Working Also.
Some Excellent Catches Of Bass Last Couple Of Days In The 40-80 Fish Per Boat With Alot Of 16-20" Fish And Should Only Get Better Each Day. On Shallower Lakes Or Darker Sections Of The Lake Are Starting To Go On Beds, popping Floating Raps Tore Em' Up.
Clearer Deeper Sections Or Lakes It Will Be A Couple More Days But They Are Very Catchable Just Inside And Outside Spawning Areas Roaming In Pairs And Spooky Yet So Blind Casting Flukes, wacky Worms, and Suspending Cranks Doing The Job.
Trout Are Still Active Though Starting To Drop A Bit Deeper. Ams And Windy Days Been Best At 30-40'. Jigging Spoons And Jigs With Meat, trolling #5 Spinner Rigs With A Shiner, sucker Strip,or Gulp, and Spoons.
We Did The First Trips Into A 4wd Pike Lake Thurs And Fri And Boats Avgd 100-150 Mostly Just Under Slot Fish But Alot Of Action With The Potential For Much Bigger Fish Shortly As The Weeds Develop.
Muskies Have Been Seen Cruising Very Shallow ,messing With The Bass Fishermens Plastics, and Hitting Smaller Twitched Minnow Baits And Spinnerbaits Casting For Pike.fish To 50" Have Been Reported Incidently Caught Released .
Several Have Been Caught/released At Boatside On Jigs And Minnows. In Some Places It's Hard To Keep Them Away From Baits So They Are Abviously Possibly It Could Be An Good Start To What Many Thought Might Be A Slow Opener Next Week.
We Are Looking Forward To It.
Still Got Some Scattered Openings Though July And Aug Sept.
