water temps are now into the mid 50's but struggling to get higher due to cool nites and front after front.
fishing has remained consistant but we need water temps to come up some table weather and winds to reach the next level.
some good catches being made in some bays however alot of fish and big ones coming anywere from 16-32'. alot more fish deep than you would think for this time of the season. got to be a lot of suspended fish also as we are seeing several spots light up in the pms dead during the day with basins nearby that got alot of hooks at 22-26'.
trout continue to be excellent and a good choice on the cold fronts, still 20-40of water.
bass are still behind but some being caught on points and rocks nearby spawning areas. should be coming in soon in numbers.
pike being caught by several groups up to 38"

UPDATE; 6 /4
YESTERDAY AT THE END OF THE DAY REPORTS WERE VERY ENCOURAGING. A DAY OF REAL NICE WEATHER COLD MORNING AND STARTED SLOW BUT BY LATE MORNING EVERYTHING STARTED TO TURN ON,SOME REAL NICE CATCHES REPORTED,NUMBERS OF WALLEYES TO 22-29" WITH A 30" YESTERDAY, JIGS DOMINATING RIGHT NOW BEST DEPTHS 16-22' ROCKY POINTS AND BARS OFF ISLAND CLUSTERS AND MAINLAND,AND DON'T BE AFRAID TO TRY SHALLOW BARS AS THEY ARE MOVING ONTO THEM ALMOST LIKE JULY FISHING IN SOME AREAS WHILE AT THE SAME TIME SOME SHALLOW WARMING BAYS WITH EMERGING GRASS ARE ALSO HOLDING FISH AT 9-12'.
WHATS GOOD IS MANY MORE SPOTS PREVIOUSLY CHECKED ARE NOW STARTING TO HOLD FISH WHERE AS BEFORE THE CONSISTANT SPOTS WERE MUCH MORE LIMITED IN NUMBER,A GUY BCAN NOW MOVE AROUND MORE SEARCHING GOOD LOOKING STUFF AND FIND ACTIVE GROUPS OF FISH.
A BOAT WITH THE CIZEK GROUP POUNDED A NUMBER OF NICE BASS 17-19" IN SHALLOW ON ROCKS DOWN THE SIDE OF A SPAWNING BAY AND ANOTHER GROUP HAD A 20"+ SO THEWY ARE MOVING IN AND WHEN THEY START IT TENDS TO HAPPEN FAST,GOOD SIGN.
GROUPS FISHING TROUT AVGD 20-30 / BOAT ON TROUT LAKES 3-6# AND A GROUP FISHING EAGLE HAS HAD 2-3 FISHING PART OF THE DAY 8-14#.
THE HARRIS GROUP HAD AN EXCITONG ENCOUNTER WITH A HUGE MUSKY 52"+ THAT GRABBED A WALLEYE AT BOATSIDE.
4WD LAKES ARE ALSO REALLY STARTING TO TURN ON,LAST 4 DAYS CATCHES AVG OVER 100 NFISH/DAY.

Herbie,
A group of 4 of us guys will be on Eagle Lake for a week starting June 19th and our main focus is trophy Pike & Musky. We have done well in spots with thick Vagetation, but our Hot Spots map hasn't been updated in like 5 years. Can you recommend good locations to focus on and your lure recommendations based on the current weather patterns and lake conditions.

Thanks,
Geo

Curent Conditions/patterns Mean Little Come 2 Weeks.
We Need Sun And Warming Water And If The Shallows Warm Up A Bit And Weeds Come Up They Will Gravitate To Them,if Not What Ever Weeds You Can Find Will Be Significant But Shallow Rocks, reeds, timber, cureent Areas Could Be The Predominate Patterns. If It Coninues To Stay Cooler And Water Temps Don't Go Up Into The 60's There Will Undoubtably Be Some Suspended Fish Which Make It Tough For Big Water Canadian Fishing
Typically Under These Kind Of Conditions Glide Baits, dogs, and Twitched Minoow Bait S Rule.\
If You Troll For Suspended Fish Minnow Baits And Blade Baits.
