Memorial Day and the subsequent opener of musky fishing in Wisconsin North of Hwy 10 has come and gone. Water temps Saturday were in the mid 60 degree range for opening day, and continued to climb over the course of the sunny weekend. The bulk of the muskies we found, including some large northern pike, were all quite shallow. Bucktails, rubber baits, and "rubber duckies" (hybrid plastic/rubber lures) all produced fish for us.

On a side note, congratulations to Jeff Bergstrom and Chris Jennings for their fish on Saturday, both claiming trophies as part of the annual "Great Musky Hunt"!
