The speaker for the next meeting will be Madison chain of lakes guide Ron Barefield. He will be discussing the different species of fish in the lakes and how to locate them. He will also be going over maps of the different lakes as well. As one of Southern Wisconsin's full time multi-species fishing guides, he concentrates his services on the Madison Chain of lakes, for which he has been fishing for 34 years and guiding full time on them for 14 years. He also fishes the Wisconsin River system from Wisconsin Dells to Muscoda, including Lake Wisconsin. Besides providing a fun filled fish catching experience, he puts great value in sharing years of knowledge regarding fish catching techniques. He has had articles written about his fishing abilities in Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, Wisconsin Sportsman, Bassmaster's Magazine and numerous newspapers.
** The club will also be selling $5 tickets for a raffle with the featured speaker for a ½ day guided trip for 2 people to the Madison chain of lakes good through 2009.
