Water temps continue to rise and despite the brutal weather we had earlier this wk, the wknd is looking good with air temps hitting 80. Current water temps range from 46-51 in various locations.
Once again another tournament will be on the river this wknd, the Masters Walleye Circuit is hosting the first of 3 in the eastern division in Trenton Mi.

Walleyes have been taken in many of the seasonal locations, Peche Island, Belle Isle bridge, Ren Cen, Great Lakes Steel and of course the Trenton Channel is always a favorite with 2 boat launches close by. I have been using chartruese jigs with a "Wyandotte" worm or one of the many plastic minnows. Fish have been taken in 8-45 fow but remember to keep it slow as things are still cold.
