Guest Neil Springer and 9 year old son Xavier landed a beauty Saturday morning. Neil hooked the fish then quickly handed the rod to his son. Neil told me once he saw the size of the fish, he questioned that decision! But the young lad did a great job not horsing the fish too much and they soon brought her through the hole. They were jigging in 40 feet of water. The 29 inch 9 1/2 pounder will be going on the wall. Congrats to both of you. See you guys soon...
