Northern are still putting on a strong bite in the Eagle River area. Fish 15
feet of water or less in and around the weeds. Use a large shiner under a
tip-up. The northerns are running a little small, but action can be furious
at times.

Walleye action is good in the Eagle River area. Fish break edges in 10 to
25 feet of water. Use a Buckshot Rattle Spoon tipped with a minnow, or a
medium shiner or walleye sucker under a tip-up. Mid-day to sundown is
providing the best bite, with. Mixed bag of sizes.

Crappies in the Eagle River area are suspending 2 to 6 feet off the bottom
in 30 feet of water or less. Fish mud flat areas with structure like cribs
or brush piles. Use a crappie minnow under a slip bobber, or small jig
tipped with a waxie or spike. Good action, but be prepared to move around
and use electronics. You'll need to do some sorting.

Perch are hitting over sand flats in 20 feet of water or less. Use a fathead
or crappie minnow under a slip bobber, a small jigging spoon tipped with a
minnow head, or a tear droop jig tipped with a waxie, grub or wiggler. Good
action, but like with the crappies, be mobile and move around. Size of the
perch will vary.
