Had to go downstate for several days. Got home to a bunch of fresh snow just east of Manistique. Was wondering if the Kipling..Gladstone area got hit with much snow this past weekend. Is it still good enough to get out with a 4wheel drive vehicle on the bay north of Gladstone? Ice amounts??....Thanks

There is plenty of ice on the north end of the bay, and the snow is getting bad in some spots where it has drifted. I got bogged down tonight on the way back in trying to take a "Shortcut".
There are a couple of beaten down roads out from the yellow gate where people follow the same tracks, then just veer off when you need to.
Hopefully we get a little warmer weather to pack the snow down some.

I just dropped my shack off on the ice last night, south of Gladstone. No problem getting around out there with a 4WD. There was only about 5 inches a light snow down that way.
