lowrance H20

i have a lowrance h2o gps and bought a new hotmaps north mapcard that should show little bay de noc, does anyone know how to read that, it should show depths, and contures doesnt it. i need help. where do you go to read this on the gps

Go to your first Menu screen, scroll to map data, on the bottom your chip name should be so just select it and it will open. It should open when you turn your unit on so if no luck re-insert your card. Good Luck

You have to select the right region of michigan for hotmaps 08. North West I believe is the correct region in Michigan, and the go to Big bays Map, and scroll over from there.

If you have the older, black and white H20, rather than the color version, it may not recognize the newer charts. The newer ones have a faster processor. Same goes for the older Lowrance boat units. They normally need the "Classic" version of chips to work properly.
