Eagle River Chain

Were staying on Catfish Lake this Memorial Day. We have been going to St. Germain for the last 7 years and decided to try something different. Does anyone reccommend a bar/restaurant with a decent burger on the chain? Also, which lake is usually best for walleye around the end of May?

The Braywood makes great burgers and is next to the boat launch on Catfish lake. Walleye in late may can be found anywhere on the chain, the three biggest lakes Catfish, Cranberry, and Eagle lake see more fishing presure but there is great Walleye action to be had throughout the chain. focus on the greenest weeds you can find and if posible the wind blowen shore. Use a 1/16 oz jig and a Fathead Minnow.
