What are the chances the ice will be off the lakes for the opener this year?

At the rate it is going this spring, it is questionable... I fished the '96 opener with tipups.

Jeff here, I will bet ice will be off in time on most lakes. We do need warm nights and rain to push things along. Smaller lakes and waters with current are going to be the best bets. Big waters like Trout may not. Lets keep our fingers crossed Jeff Winters
