It's been a hot summer for almost all of you who read this. Cool autumn temperatures and breezes are welcome. There's a few leaves falling but most remain green.

Water temperatures this summer in this area reached 80 degrees or higher. They have since cooled to around 70. Our September guests can look forward to temperatures in the 60's and lower 70's with over night lows around 45-50. Let's hope it stays that way for quite some time.

Our fishing contest is going well. Our guests top ten Walleyes are between 24 inches and 29 1/2 inches. Our top ten Pike are between 28 and 33 3/4 inches. Crappies top ten are all between 13 3/8 and 13 7/8 inches. Largemouth Bass top ten are 17 1/2 to 20 1/4. Rock Bass are 10 7/8 to 11 7/8. Perch range from 11 3/8 to 12. Bluegill (including Sunfish and Pumpkinseed) are between 10 and 10 3/4 inches. Muskie range from 18 to 36 inches. Bullhead measured are between 12 1/2 and 14 1/4 inches. We run a fair and accurate contest. Mouth closed, tail squeezed when measuring fish. Click on "Photo Gallery" to see our many pictures.

We are offering some really good deals in September. If needed, get a cabin and a real nice boat for one low price.

And don't forget, 2000 square foot Cabin # 11 is open all winter. Ice anglers can clean their fish in a new heated garage. Stay in comfort when you go ice fishing. You deserve it.

Give us a call. Thanks.
