The past few days when you found the schools of largemouth it was non-stop action with numbers in the teens during our normal trips depending on the time of day and weather conditions.. The best depth was 16 ft of water. Fishing a split shot rigged nightcrawler, large leeches and lindy rigged suckers. We are also picking up a few pike while working those depths. If one wanted to target just pike slipping the boat in to the area where the thermocline meets shoreline structure around that 30 foot range has brought better results.
