I took my son out for a mixed bag fishing trip on Sunday, We did really well on nice gills in 3 to 10 fow on slip bobber and leech. We were hoping to hook up with some walleye but the gill action and bass action was fast so it kept him (and me) busy.

Musky action is heating up with a lot of reports of low to mid 40" fish being taken on the surface. Lake X Dr Evil's, Top Raiders and Toppers have been at the top of the list.

Northern Pike and Largemouth action has been my go to fish for mid day trips right now. Frogs, Buzz baits and spinnerbaits have been producing well in the weeds.

Smallmouth action has been good, Jigs and plastics or leech have been taking a good number of smallies around rock or wood. The morning and evening surface bite has been awesome as well.

Walleye action has slowed. Most anglers are targeting 4 to 12 fow in the early morning and evening low light times.

Good Luck on the water!!!
