After all the heat we then got a big blow from the west. Chris and his dad, several year return guests went out on the windy side of a island with in site of the lodge and put hooks into this beautiful 48'fish on one of his own hand tied spinner baits, red of course. Congrats Chris.When the wind they went lake trout fishing and got a couple of trout too so not a bad 1st day on their annual trip to Rowan Lake.
