Nice Bluegills again this week and anglers are still finding some in the shallows, Gills over 10 inches registered. Trout worms or waxies best bait.

Crappies, the Spirit Flowage is hot right now. Anglers are catching Big Crappies up to 15.5 inches. Fish the stumps in 3 to 5 feet of water. Slip bobbers and small minnows for the best setup. Fish tight to the structure. The shoreline right along the road (county E) by the papermill is another hot spot. Fish along the rocks again use slip bobbers and minnows or beetlespins. Shore anglers are doing very well here.

Smallies, use Slopmaster worms and fish the rock or stumpy bars. The Slopmaster worms sink faster then other worms. Fish them wacky style. Other good lures are Zoom Flukes, Chompers and Mann's Baby 1 crankbaits.

Muskie, Bucktails are still the hot lure. Dreamcathers are the best choice. Action on topwater is starting to get much better. Whopper Ploppers and Jackpots are the hot topwater lures. 48 inches is the largest this week.

Good Luck
Dave
