Enjoyed a morning on the water with another new to the sport angler wanting to learn technics and places around the lake to catch bluegills. The first two spots we tried had little success Ceder Pt. An Cisco Bay. Found them in hole number three next to Linn Pier in 8 to 10 feet of water. They seemed to prefer a half chunck of nightcrawler over waxies, leeches, small minnows, and even red worms.
Final count was three smallmouth bass, over twenty five gills caught we kept seventeen, a few decent perch, and a LOT of rockbass. Slipbobbers worked better than a splitshot/crawler.
