The walleye fishing remains good. We have been fishing down south for the last few days and have been doing much better with the eyes. The size and quanity have been very good.
We are jig fishing in 20 to 25 ft of water with leaches and crawlers. The water temp is 60 degrees down south but only 58 north of the barrier islands.
The bass fishing remains very slow only a few smaller fish being caught in Witch and Andrew Bays.
The northern action is also slow, this is probably because of the cooler water and slow weed growth, the weeds in front of the camp are only about a foot or two tall. The weeds in some places are not even there, not like normal years. There is no algae yet, the water is still to cold and we have not had much sunshine.
