Well it seems that all this time hanging out at the resort is finally paying some dividends! A guest of ours has a passion for builing muskie/pike lures and I was very honoured to be asked to try a few of them out for him and let him know what I think. Now, I'm not an expert or anything near it, but I am on pretty good muskie water and have a chance to get out casting here and there when conditions are both tough and good so I could offer some feedback on how the fish like these lures once in awhile.
Special thanks to Marv G (Clinton, IA) for these awesome looking bucktails and spinner baits. I can't wait to get out and give them a try.
I had a hard time picking out just a couple when he brought out dozens and dozens of brand new lures that had never seen the water. Marv then twisted my arm a little and I end up with more than a couple. HAHA
I get to name one if I catch a fish on it so all that is left is to find out which of these baits will get named "The Marvinator"!!
