Here we go again with this crazy weather again. One day warm and two days cold.. Fish are MOVING.. The water is coming down it's about 5 feet above summer pool now the docks are usable now you still have to back down ramp from top of the hill but at least the docks are open. Fish are all over the place in the coves from in the bushes to out in the middle which trolling comes into play. The last couple days both ways have produced very well with trolling leading a little bit. The bait choices have not changed at all Rattle Baits, Fat Belly Rattler, Sledge, Squirtko have produced casting. Little Ernie, Tuff Shad, Baby Depth Raider, Rattle Baits have produced trolling short lines. Remember this time of year these fish move in and out all the time so if you fish a spot early don't be afraid to go back in a few hours doesn't take long for a big fatty to move in. Water color is good Claylick up is a little darker but still good. Water temps are 48-49 which they have cooled a little bit due to this cooler weather. Good Luck this weekend and make sure you stop in the shop.. Got some great stuff in Bluegrass Rods, Medussas, Squirtkos, Sledges, and Rattle Baits.. See you on the pond!

Justin,

Thanks for the report. It's really encouraging to hear things are shaping up on the Cave. Looking forward to catching some good ones when I come up in two weeks.

Watched the show today and had fun watching Justin catch Stripers on Lake Cumberland. I encourage anyone who has not watched Crash's new television show to tune in next week.
