Folks, its ICE TIME!! We are now ice fishing and guiding on our shallow smaller
bodies of inland water (as you can see from our websites new fishing reports and pics). We are
finding 2 to 5 inches on most lakes. The recent snow cover will help with the traction issues seen the past week. We are targeting
Panfish along with some Walleye and Pike. The action has been decent,
especially the Panfishing!! For lakes bigger then this, most are capping but still un-fishable in the main lake portions, most bays should be fine. As always,
check often and use all safety precautions.
For the people that are starting to venture out a little ways from shore in
the area. I will be checking things out first hand here shortly and
will report back. Things are still very thin out here, but with the cold
weather, we should be in full swing here shortly!!
