Sorry I haven't posted lately, I'm on day 23 without my boat, Waiting for parts is killing me. But I sould have it back for the weekend...
The walleye fishing on the chain is great right now, there are a lot of fish being caught but the size is running small. The fish are being caught on jig and fathead in 4 to 8 fow. We are setting up the boat about 2 long casts from shore. We are also getting some nice Crappie mixed in.
The Musky are going nuts, Good reports are coming in from the Phillips Chain, The Flambeau, The Pike/Round Chain, and some of the other smaller lakes in the area. Jerk Baits, Plastics, Bucktails, and Surface Baits are all taking fish. They also seem to be turning onto suckers as well.
I'd give you a water temp reading but the little boat that I have been out in dosen't have temp on it so if anyone could post some water temps that would be awesome.
