Herbie,
I would like say a big thanks to Darcy for helping out a fellow muskie fisherperson.
My mother (been fishing muskies for years on Eagle) was fishing with my aunt and uncle near the mouth of Portage when she hooked into a nice fish. She fought it for some time and they were struggling landing the fish since they only had a cradle with them.
Darcy was in the area with clients and took the time to help out by hopping into their boat with a standard net to help land the fish. Her personal best (47").
An extremely nice and grateful gesture since my family were not guests of AML. (We've got a private cabin near CPL.)
Please forward on my sincere thank you to Darcy for helping my mother out. It's always important to have the proper tools to ensure a safe release. I don't think they will be going anywhere in the future without one of my big Frabills that was in our boathouse. ;)
