The walleye fishing has been very good for the last few days. The fish have been coming up shallow on the rock points in the sunshine. We have been using crankbaits and jigs with twister tails and finesse worms. On the days when the sun does not shine we have been jigging on the points in 20 to 26 ft. with jigs and live bait.
The bass fishing has been very spotty. Some people are finding the bass on the rock shore lines, casting small crankbaits or pitching jigs and grubs. But over all they have been slow.
There are only a couple of musky fisherman in camp and they have been seeing some but them have been slow to eat. The water temp in the main lake has been running around 62 to 64. We have been having a lot of cool rainy days.
