Three combat veterans who were wounded in combat in either Operation Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom will be joining us for a weekend of turkey hunting and fishing. One veteran is from Southern Wisconsin while the other two hail from Texas and South Carolina. Special thanks go out to the many companies and individuals who have stepped forward to help these veterans have a great time. The Grand Lodge by Stoney Creek is providing lodging for the veterans. This is just one of the examples of the many people who are helping to make this a memorable weekend for these vets. If you see us on the water, getting licenses at Gander Mountain or hopefully registering birds there on the weekend stop by, say "hi", and thank the vets for their service.
