Recent warm temps have moved the big smallmouth back in as they begin to go into their spawning cycle. Small jigs with power leeches were the ticket for our film shoot on the 16th, with jigs fished either stationary or very slowly in 1 to 2 feet of water. This week should offer some fantastic smallmouth fishing as warm weather dominates the forecast. We'll be posting back as we see any trends in presentations and location.
