Lack of post, good or bad,may force me to make the 5 hour drive. On second thought I'll make a couple phone calls.

bass fished Kinkaid on Sunday ( amidst a 30+ boat Muskie tournament) Caught 2 keepers (1) 19" on a chart buzz bait (1) 21" on a green YUM frog.. in the lower lake area also caught 3 non-keepers in no-wake area..water temp 66 chilly degrees actually pretty clear water outside the no-wake area. Watched the Muskie weigh-in..they caught 9 muskie ..one boat caught 3 fish in 20 minutes time ( they won ).... largest fish caught was 47 in by third place winner. Talked to a guy in the morning said he caught 10 bass ( by 9am) and 4 were keeper-size on buzz bait near the old beach area.
