Hi everyone,
Here's Jenk's primer In preperation for the fishing opener. Jenk's is locared on highway "B" near the intersection of highway "CC".

Weather report
It kind of depends on which report you want to believe. I think it will be pleasant--around 60. And I think the earlier part of the weekend will be wetter than the later part. Friday may even be a little stormy with Sat being lighter and a little more scattered.
Water level
We certainly need the rain because the lake is still a little over two feet down. That's really no problem--just know where you're going.
Water temperature
It's in the upper 50's. The crappies won't be on the beds yet but they'll be cruising around the shallows. The other reason I know this is because my chokecherry tree is blooming. Don't laugh; I've watched it for over 30 years and it hasn't missed yet.
Walleye limit
Don't forget: the walleye bag limit is two.
Come up safely.
