Water temps remain in the upper 30s to the low 40s in the Eagle
River area.

Muskie are hitting well in the Eagle River area, with some trophies showing
up. Fish outside of weed edges, over hardbottom areas in 10-15 feet of
water. Use a crankbait, glidebait, or a 16 inch sucker on a quick-set rig.
Kentuck Lake has been the "go to" lake this fall for active muskies.

The walleye in †he Eagle River area are locating in 5 to 25 feet of water on
break edges. Use a jig and a XL fathead minnow.

Northern are hanging in the weeds in 15 feet of water or less in the Eagle
River area. Use a medium sucker under a slip bobber, a minnow bait, or a
Husky Jerk in a perch or minnow pattern.

Crappies are still showing up in two places in the Eagle River area. Fish
along weed edges in 15 feet of water or less, and over cribs or brush piles
in 25-30 feet of water. Use a crappie minnow under a slip bobber.

Perch in the Eagle River area are mixed in with the walleye in5-25 feet of
water along break edges. Use a jig and a small fathead minnow.

Hunters in the Eagle River area are having a good grouse season in the Eagle
River area.
