Monday and Tuesday's walleye and smallie action was once again on the slow side. On Monday, my client and I fished for 3 hours and found 3 keeper eyes and 1 throwback smallie on Reeves weedless jigs tipped with a half crawler. Two of the eyes came out of 3 feet of water over rocks while third one along with the smallie came out of 13 feet of water over submerged stumps. Doing another half day trip on Tuesday, my 2 clients and I found 5 eyes, 4 of which were keepers along with 2 big smallies in and around bogs and over rock piles in 3 to 5 feet of water.
Back out on Wednesday for another half day trip, will keep you posted.
