Fishing has been pretty good around the area, muskies are going good, smallmouth bass is good, walleyes are bitting good too.
Yesterday I fished with some guests from the Twin Cities on the Chippewa Flowage. We found the jigging bite to be kind of hit and miss. Pods or groups of fish were the norm, we'd work our way along on a spot with out much action and then all of the sudden we'd be in fish for a while getting some good bites and then they would just seem to stop. Overall we did good, we got six walleyes, twenty or so smallmouths, and a few other fish too. We had a good time, and dodged all but one small rain shower right at the end of the day.
