The best way to describe Sunday's action is to say it totally sucked. We finally get a warm up in temps and the action turned cold. My 2 clients and I spent the day working all types of structure and various depths and ended up catching a total of 2 eyes. It wasn't just the eyes that were slow, but we managed just 1 small pike and 1 little smallie, all fish were just in a shut down mode. We were saved somewhat by 3 crappie, 1 perch and a couple of decent sized gills we took out of the cribs. Made a few calls to other anglers and a fellow guide who were out there and they had simular results or worse. Just one of those days where nothing works for you, hoping for better results on todays half day trip, will keep you posted.
